Aaron L. Miller recently invited me to appear on his podcast, “The Power of Sports,” to talk about my career as a sports journalist.

He asked me a wide range of questions about my childhood memories of sports and my views on the growth of Japan basketball at all levels over the past decade and a half, including the impact of the FIBA-forced merger that created the B. League, which was launched in 2016. We discussed my impressions of NBA players Rui Hachimura and Yuta Watanabe and the Japan women’s team capturing the silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics, among other topics.

It was a fun conversation.
