Numerous reports over the years – in the run-up to the 2008 Beijing Games and 2012 London Games and while I was filing dispatches from both cities for The Japan Times – as well as engaging interviews with policy makers and marquee names within the world of global sports and the Olympic movement were showcased in this section. However, the archival listing before June 2014 doesn’t currently have the label Olympic Notebook.
Indeed, the archive could be built up again in the coming years with new material.
It also features retrospectives on the lives of some Olympic greats who have passed away, including Ron Clarke, Iolanda Balas and Henry Carr.
